lifestyle | how to save money in college with just 2 apps.

Today, I am going to show you how to save HUNDREDS of dollars while in college by only downloading 2 apps.

The apps I used are called UniDays and StudentBeans. You can find them on your App Store or Google Play Store. You can also visit their website.

Using these apps over the last 2 years has saved me over $300 dollars with things that I use every day like Spotify, Amazon, and Hulu!

Both of these apps offer discounts in fashion, beauty, food, lifestyle, technology, and more. And all you need is your student email.

When signing up, all you need you to is verify that you’re a student by choosing your school from their list of approved colleges/universities and then they will send you an email to your student email to confirm. If you do not see your school or have problems when signing up, you can also upload a student document like your schedule or acceptance letter to be approved for the app.

Once you have signed up, the only thing left to do is pick your discounts! There are 100’s of discounts to choose from in all different categories and all you need to do is pick the ones that work for you the most.

The discounts that I have personally chosen are Amazon Prime, Spotify, Apple Music, Hulu, Showtime, and Audible.

The ones I plan to use next are Elf Cosmetics, Asos, and Boohoo Clothing. There are so many to choose from.

By using these discounts I have saved over $400 in the past year. See Below!

Before and After Discounts (Yearly)

Spotify: $119.88 | $59.88

Apple Music: $119. 88 | $59.88

Hulu: $71.88 |  $0.00

Showtime: $132 |  $0.00

Amazon Prime: $155.88 |  $77.88

Audible: $179.40 | $119.40

TOTAL: $778.92 – $297.14 = $481.78 saved.

*Note: Hulu and Showtime comes free with a Spotify student discount subscription.*

There are also other fun things on the apps like contests and quizzes to participate in everyday!

Unidays and Student Beans are perfect apps to save money while you are in college. You will get hundreds of discounts while saving hundreds of dollars and all you need to do is confirm your school with your student email and nothing more. Once, you’ve signed up, you won’t regret it. Just remember to update your student status after a year by confirming that you are still a student to continue getting your discounts. I hope this information is helpful to all the college students out there. Happy Shopping!
